  • We feel that we’ve failed if we can’t resist the cravings we feel around food, that’s the story we tell ourselves.
  • When you eat the right kinds of kinds of fat and avoid the foods that cause cravings, it frees up you to not think about food all the time and invest that energy elsewhere.
  • One of the three things that get’s in your way all time can turned off by what you put in your food.
  • When you run out of energy because your blood sugar dips, your body thinks you’re about to die and triggers the stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol.
  • When you don’t control your cravings, your fight or flight response gets triggered and you say things that you will probably regret later.
  • Your nervous system picks up on what’s happening and it responds with an emotion that may or may not include fear and then we tell ourselves a story about what happened.
  • You can reprogram your subconscious responses through neurofeedback.
